Director's Awards Given for Outstanding Work

Three members of the IITRI staff were presented with Director's Awards in July 2006 for their contributions to IITRI's success:

  • Leigh Ann Senoussi (left), Executive Assistant for IITRI's Senior Vice-President and Director, Dr. David L. McCormick (rear), has played an essential role in the preparation of numerous major proposals submitted by IITRI to government sponsors. These proposals often have challenging deadlines, and involve the preparation and review of very large documents with complex formats. Leigh Ann's document preparation and editorial skills, when combined with her ability to work under pressure, have made her an invaluable asset to the IITRI team. Over the years, Ms. Senoussi has been a key contributor to proposals that have generated many millions of dollars in research funding for our organization.
  • Todd Haryu, M.S. (right), and Nicole Kozub, B.S. (center), Technical Supervisors in IITRI's Toxicology Division (both Lab Biologists III), were recognized for their outstanding technical skills, leadership qualities, effective management, initiative, and dependability. Realizing the importance of quality animal care and treatment, Todd and Nicole have shown a willingness to learn new techniques and work extra hours.
