Director's Awards and Team Spirit Awards Given for Outstanding Work
Two members of the IITRI staff were presented with Director's Awards in July 2007 for
their outstanding contributions to IITRI's success:
Michael Hawthorne, M.S., Lab Biologist II for IITRI's Carcinogenesis and Chemoprevention Division,
was rewarded for his 22 years of service to IITRI. Everyone in both Mr. Hawthorne's group and outside the division
depend on Michael's assistance and appreciate his efficient, helpful and well-organized work ethic.
Guozheng Zhang, Ph.D., Senior Chemist, Analytical Chemistry Division, was rewarded for the substantial
amount of quality work he has produced for our Sponsors in recent months. In addition, he has been active in the development
and implementation of new analytical techniques, which has broadened IITRI's analytical chemistry capabilities. His commitment
and dedication to the organization are commendable.
The following IITRI staff members received Team Spirit Awards at the All Hands Meeting in July for their contributions
to the redesign of IITRI's logo:
